Learning in 3K
In 3K, students learn about themselves, their families, and our community. They will begin to explore the world around them, learn to work with peers, and gain independence throughout the school year. It’s an exciting transition for our youngest learners to join our school community.
Overview
Residencies

Students work with MAPS to create art, stories, and use their imagination in a variety of ways. The units connect to their science and social studies learning while creating in a joy-filled and creative environment. Students also work with kids from across PS19 EVCS to create school-wide art projects and musical pieces to build community to start the school year
Special Events

Puppeteers visit our 3K classroom to teach students how to build and manipulate a caterpillar puppet for a performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
