Learning in Pre K
In PreK, students continue to learn about themselves, their families, and our community. They explore the world around them, work with peers, and gain independence throughout the school year. Our play-based curriculum invites all to participate in our school community.
Overview
Residencies

Students work with MAPS to create art, stories, and use their imagination in a variety of ways. The units connect to their science and social studies learning while creating in a joy-filled and creative environment. Students also work with kids from across PS19 EVCS to create school-wide art projects and musical pieces to build community to start the school year
Special Events

Pre K students visit neighborhood parks and businesses to collect inspiration for their dramatic play centers, and materials for their studies.
